Genmar IT streamlined Kalex’s IT with Microsoft 365 migration, new devices, and enhanced security for better performance and collaboration.

Onboarded Kalex to our IT Support services, migrating their email to Microsoft 365, implementing SharePoint for file storage, and consolidating their domains for streamlined management. We also upgraded their devices, set up Microsoft 365 backup, and deployed advanced security solutions to enhance performance, collaboration, and security.
The first step was to consolidate Kalex's domains. We ensured all domains were migrated to our LCN portal and successfully integrated into Microsoft 365. Collaborating with the previous provider, we worked to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to their operations.
Next, we migrated their email service to Microsoft 365, communicating closely with the Kalex team throughout the process. Each user was individually assisted to ensure they could access their new email system without issues. We also set up secure cloud storage locations via SharePoint, maintaining proper permission levels and enabling easy file access through File Explorer.
Simultaneously, we procured and set up new devices for Kalex’s users, pre-configuring them for the new system. Our onsite engineer delivered the laptops and ensured every user had what they needed to operate effectively. Additional services, including Microsoft 365 backup and AI-driven antivirus, were also deployed to enhance security and redundancy.
Kalex sought a more professional and reliable IT support provider to enhance their operations. A key priority was upgrading their computers to ensure optimal performance for day-to-day tasks.
They also needed to simplify and consolidate their email services, streamlining setup and billing while fully leveraging the Microsoft 365 package. By migrating their files to Microsoft SharePoint, we improved both efficiency and security for their email and file systems.
To further enhance security, we deployed an AI-driven antivirus solution, ensuring robust endpoint detection and response across all devices accessing company information.
